Lesley Hughes
Introducing Lesley Hughes. It has been revealed that Liberal candidate for Kildonian-St. Paul Lesley Hughes is a full blown conspiracy theorist and 9/11 "truther". The article is titled Get the Truth, and she also quotes prominent Truther and former NDP-candidate Barry Zwicker.
Hughes also writes in Canadian Dimension after the 2006 election, that she in fact didn't vote for the Liberals in the last election:

Okay, here’s the ugly truth. I refused to vote in the federal election. I turned my back on my ballot. I skipped the whole thing. When all was said and done, it felt like the only responsible thing to do.
I declined to vote not just because the truly urgent issues - the absorption of Canada into a U.S.-driven continental entity, the sale of our publicly owned health system to private buyers, the impact of impending bank mergers, etc. - had been effectively deleted from the campaign. Not just because embarrassingly influential personalities - George W. Bush, Conrad Black, Stockwell Day, to name a few - had also disingenuously disappeared from sight.
Will Stephane Dion ask Ms. Hughes to step down?
UPDATE: Stephane Dion has ditched Lesley Hughes. Good for him and good for the Liberal Party.

Good for Dion? He had to do hours of consulting with "minority group shareholders" before even considering letting her go.
As for her nutty 9/11 beliefs, the best response yet has had to come from Mark Steyn:
Did Rumsfeld also know? Almost certainly. That’s why he went to his office as normal that day, because he knew in advance that the plane would slice through the Pentagon but come to a halt on the far side of the photocopier. That’s how well-planned it was, unlike Iraq.

Dion made the right decision, albeit he (and Cherniak) reacted indecisively. Ultimately though, the correct decision was made for the Libs, and the country. And Duh, Steyn's always right.
