There is no justice in this country so why expect any from off duty police?

They are NOT the law, just the armed enforcers.

So a drunk driver killed someone, if it was NOT an off duty officer you'd not give this the light of day on your blog.

What about the innocent children being killed by inexperienced drivers?
Happens weekly, but you bloodhounds never light on that.

Special interests = special grievances!

It's true. Winnipeg Police are corrupt and continue to be corrupt. They are truly as bad as the stories claimed about Mexican police. They don't feel the slightest bit responsible to civility, let alone following their own code of law. I've seen police run red lights just to skip traffic. It's ridiculous and out-of-control. The police make it more unsafe than the hoodlums themselves.

Despite being level-headed and educated, I've had nothing but harrassment from them whenever I needed their help. So, I've stopped calling altogether knowing that nothing will be resolved. They are utterly useless and I sadly have more faith in street gangs than them.

There are simply too many corrupt cops and the good ones are pushed out of the force altogether. It's a sick little "white male club" they have going and Winnipeg citizens are painfully aware of the corruption. It'll simply have to get bad enough that people will finally fight back, and brutally.
