Go Suck An Egg
Which is what I'd like to pass on to Jon Stewart. "Go Suck An Egg" was a phrase used to tell a friend, or somebody you respected, that they were out of line.
I've been a big fan of Jon Stewart for years. Loved, laughed, and cried with the guy. He was funny because he'd take shots at anyone, anything, anytime.
In recent months, The Daily Show has turned into a total attack on George W. Bush. There is no more "humourous balance", it's just plain old slander.
In my opinion, he's becoming as bad as George Strombolobluplupus on the CBC, who makes sure that at least fifteen minutes of each show is dedicated to trashing GWB, often for no good reason.
Stephen Colbert is now the only guy who I'll watch during the drinking hour. He's an equal opportunity hater, and even more importantly he's hilariously self-indulgent, and self-deprecating.
Stombo and Stewart can keep gangbanging the same drum till the film runs out. Colbert will continue to be creative in his fight for truthiness. Till that film runs out though, Go Suck An Egg!

I'm not a fan of GWB but I do agree that it's beating a dead horse.
Using the same joke over and over again, when it was only slightly funny the first time, is more of an Air Farce thing
Strombo is still new in the game, he doesn't know better. Jon Stewart should.
