Cop Shooter Details

Now, I'm not one to pat myself on the back normally... but boy did I nail this one.

A police affidavit released yesterday confirms every bit of speculation I previously made regarding Daniel Ian Anderson.

The gun he used to fire on cops was not one of the guns locked up in the basement, his girlfriend said he kept a "short barrel hunting gun" (to me, that means sawed-off shotgun) in his closet.

The police officers identified themselves very clearly, so Daniel, a previous victim of a home invasion and an unwarranted beating (ya, right!) would not have thought it was another home invasion.

Daniel's loving father also admitted to police that Daniel "associates with gang members".

So to all of you illiterate assholes who called me all kinds of names, and held up Danny as some kind of hero after my last post: kiss my ass, and stop defending this loser.

I would like to add to your most recent blog here stating all your well-known facts and such. If you are the least bit educated...you would know that there are always two sides to a story. I am not on the defence here but people are innocent until proven guilty (given: he had drugs and a gun-PROVEN...but intent to kill a police officer, theres more to that Im sure). He had a gun, thats wrong and he should pay for that...and those minor drug charges...I mean if you "really sit down here and think about this one" who the hell would knowingly shoot at cops and go to jail for some dope. You apparently smoke it yourself, is it all that bad. I myself am not a fan but to me it's minor. The police should go after the crack houses. As far as calling this guy a loser..again what does this prove? There is no need to go off on a binder here and try to justify yourself..it's not something that I myself would do. One would call that bringing yourself down to a lower level...but "I guess that Im just too laid back". Opinions are like assholes...everybodys got one. But you my friend need to get a life. :)

I agree that it's a little odd that he'd start firing at cops for just having "a bit of weed", and that cops have much more important things to deal with. But I also think it's a little odd that he kept a sawed off shotgun in his closet, and was more than willing to use it.

As for guilty until proven innocent, fair enough. But he DID shoot three cops. Even if he didn't know they were cops, he still fired three rounds at what he knew were people, and with a sawed off shotgun, thats pretty much an intent to kill.

But I'd also like to thank you for not cursing at me, and using some decent grammar :)

I would also like to add to your comment that he was only CHARGED with two counts of attempted murder, not three. And to my understanding the third cop was shot as a result of "friendly fire" from a fellow officer. Also to that defense....I heard that a few of the officers executing that drug warrant were recently graduated from the police academy (two weeks prior)-according to another article I had read. Maybe thats why things weren't done to the "textbook". What were they thinking putting these inexperienced officers in this position? Shouldn't they have had more experienced forces there as their stats show that 80% of drug executions result in the discovery of unregistered/illegal firearms? I do question whether or not things would have turned out differently if they were more prepared for this execution. As for some people including yourself saying that Daniell clearly heard the officers announce their presence..that is not for you or I or anyone else for that matter to decide as only Daniell himself can answer that that question. It sounds to me that you are trying to follow this story attempting to make some sense of what went on there and jumping to your own conclusions, but the best way to be sure you don't look ignorant is to get all your facts straight and go from there. I myself know enough about this to say that that night there were two screaming women in that house and two "large dogs" barking their heads off. These are my thoughts on this. I also want to let others who read your site know that there are always two sides to every story, never make yourself look badly by stating an opinion which is defended by pretentious facts. thanks

I base my opinion on the only fact really known about the case, and that is that Daniell shot two, or three police officers. The rest is what judges are for.

Once again..
how old are you typing shit like ya right? grow up a bit..
and unless you wer there.. dont write articles cuz its alll juts a bunch of bullshit.
