You Can't Fire Me, I Quit!

"Maverick" MP Garth Turner, who can now safely be called an Independent, held a press conference yesterday afternoon, with a lot of fan fair. Mr. Turner promised "disturbing insights into how the new government is actually working." Needless to say, the Liberal media got their collective panties in a bunch.

The only dirt that Mr. Turner had to sling, were three letters from the Conservative Party, telling him he was no longer welcome in the party. Apparently being turfed from the caucus didn't send a strong enough message. Garth, being the highly principled dude that he is, thought it was time to quit the party. Its been a mere twenty-seven days since the party quit Garth Turner. All that it comes down to, is the size of your press conference.

Garth has declared he will remain an Independent in parliament. He has also declared that he'll be knocking on doors for the Green Party in London, ON. The roll of and Indy for Mr. Turner should work well. He's his own biggest fan, and is loving all the attention. If the suit fits, wear it.
