Thoughts on Quebec's Nationhood
Now that Stephen Harper has recognized Quebec as "a nation within a united Canada", I have a few questions.
1) Can't Quebec now be the only bilingual Nation in Canada?
2) Since the Bloc were formed by splitting from the PC Party over the Quebec issue, how many will now come back into the Conservative fold?
3) Does the Bloc even have a reason to exist anymore?
4) Has Stephen Harper done anything more than legally acknowledge the definition of "nation": A people who share common customs, origins, history, and frequently language?
5) Is the nation the Quebecois people, or the Province of Quebec?
It seems the more I think about it, the less I understand.

You have to remember that this is about Quebec. Sensible understanding does not at any point factor into the equation.
