Gary Doer Won The Grey Cup
Unfortunately, due to excessive homework constraints (read: procrastination/incompetence) I only got to catch the second half of todays Big Game. I'm told it was the good half. BC played a damn good game, and Montreal just couldn't get it together in time.
Unfortunately, the BC Lions victory was snatched away from them by Manitoba Premier Gary Doer. I'm sure I can't be the only person who noticed that he was the first to hoist the cup. He was on the field, partying like he'd caught the game-winning touch-down!
I don't normally harp on Gary Doer, but this was one of the most shameless acts of self-indulgence I have ever seen. He tried to steal the attention from the winning team, and it was sad and pathetic. Todays NDP is Tomorrows Opposition.

Very true. I guess he's still one-up on Ralph Klein.
Wait till the election comes up, he'll have us recall how he caught the game-winning touchdown for the Bombers in the Grey Cup.
I'm sure the photo will be retouched with the Spirited Energy logo on the bottom as well.
