The Religion of Peace Strikes Again
Let me clear the air first... I have never been a big fan of The Pope, Catholisism, or Christianity in general. But when I'm forced to chose between extreme Christianity and extreme Islam, I will resign myself to agreeing with the Pope over Osama.
The Pope made some rather benign statements about Islam this week. Amongst them, he quoted a medieval emporor, who at the time, was defending his country against an armed invasion by Muslims. The quote was taken massively out of context, yet Muslims errupt.
Extremists have called for the assasination of the Pope, burn effigies of the pope, executed a nun in Somalia. A fucking nun, the savages killed a nun who was there to do nothing but help them. And her dying words were "I forgive, I forgive". Now if you ask me, she ascribes to a religion of peace - the savages who murdered her do not.
My point is this: at what point will people, especially Muslims, put an end to this behavior? In my opinion, it's the responsibility of each and individual Muslim to put an end to this shit. You can't defend this kind of bullshit, and when people try to defend it they're only furthering the cause.
Thats without mentioning the fact that Muslims around the world refer the the Western World as "The Great Satan". If the United States went and assasinated every person who'd refered the them as "The Great Satan", I'd bet the world would be a much friendlier place.

I've said before, the real trick is to turn the tables.
Refer to the Muslim world as a "Great Satan". Call Mohammed himself "Satan's prophet". Boldly declare that Islam is a false religion and only the embrace of Jesus Christ will save these Arabic sinners.
Even if the number of converts is very small, even if the ire of the Muslim world is raised, it has at least let it be known that the West has decided to take its beliefs seriously, and that a doubt must be placed in the hearts of those who worship in the Mosques of Satan's prophet that they will in fact go to hell as a result of their beliefs.
