Joe Volpe: Shill For Pharmacutical Company
The Liberal Party is still crooked. Joe Volpe, a candidate for the Liberal leadership, is neck high in shit -- already.
It turns out Volpe was bought out by Apotex Inc., Canada's largest pharmaceutical company.
As the CBC points out, his potential punishment is weak, to say the least.
More like the bastard should be tried for treason! He was trying to sell Canada's highest office to a corporate interest, a pharmaceutical company of all things! It's not far off from Jean Chretien selling his soul to advertising companies in Quebec.
The wretched stench of the Liberal party didn't leave with Paul Martin's leadership, and it's already climbing it's way up the ranks. And jesus, did it have to be a pharmaceutical company of all things! I'll let Adam rant about how evil and powerful pharmaceutical companies are. He's good at that.

he 20 donations of $5,400 each — the maximum allowed — including some from teenage children of the Apotex executives — make up 70 per cent of the $152,700 that Mr. Volpe's campaign reported earlier this month that it has raised.
Companies are barred from donating to federal party leadership campaigns under a 2004 law.
As the CBC points out, his potential punishment is weak, to say the least.
For major violations of the Elections Act, an MP can be stripped of his or her seat and barred from seeking re-election.

Nate DAWG!!! Finally you touch on the pharmaceutical madness. Where to go from there? Well, let me tell you how it works for those of you who are not quite sure how evil the pharma cartels actually are. Pharma cartels run the world. They have their hand in every pocket you can possibly imagine when it comes to governing agencies. They own the politicians. They own all regulating authorities for the drugs. Basically the pharmacartel has so much power it can influence anybody who may stand in their way to get out of the way. Thier salesmen are doctors for shits sakes. COmmon people wake up. Drugs are bad, (well the legal ones anyway) most drugs cause more problems than they are supposed to CURE in the first place. I have never heard of a pharmacetical that cured someone but under the food and drug admin only a drug can cure a disease. Its so fucked i cant even talk about it.
Pharmacuetical cartels try to discredit vitamins and the natural health industry becuase many natural remedies actually work and the cartels dont like to lose a piece of thier huge pie. NO one has ever died from natural health products and there is around 900 000 people in north america per year that die due to medical malpractice. INcluding over prescribing. That 900 000 is a figure derived 5% of the deaths being reported. (Gary Null)
Of all the fortune 500 companies in america, the top ten are pharmaceutical companies and they pull in 90% of all the profits so the other 490 companies have to fight for 10% of the left over profits. what does that say to you about thier power?
I challenge anyone who doesnt believe that the pharmaceutical companies are corrupt to do some of thier own research and i am 100% confident that you will come to the conclusion that the corruption of the cartels runs very deep.
