Harper, Howard and truth in Parliament
"I would have for those around the world who would want to see a reduced American role in the affairs of our globe some quiet advice, and that is, be careful what you wish for because a retreating America will leave a more vulnerable world"...
"It would leave the world more exposed to terrorism and would leave a more fragile and indeed dangerous world."
It's a sad day when that declaration in parliamnet has to come from Australian Prime Minister John Howard. I wonder if there is one MP in Canada that would have the balls to agree with him?

Hopefully not. Our association with America is the only reason I feel a bit worried every time I get on the subway in Toronto.
Okay, that's a load of shit. You're afraid of a terror attack, because we have close ties with the USA? Jordan, who is far from close with the USA, was attacked in August by Al-qaeda. Canada was ranked fifth on an Al Qaeda "hit-list". It has nothing to do with our doplomatic ties. It has everything to do with our way of life.
