Throwing Loose the Shackles of The Man
Today was my last day at work. It was fucking fantastic! I made sure to clean up most of my messes the day before, so today I was just double-checking myself... for the first two hours in the morning.
For the rest of the day, I had the good fortune of watching The Masters on the InterWeb. That was after I my last meal. Which was KFC. The golf today was strange. Chad Campbell, surprisingly at the top. And all of the big five (Tiger, Phil, Vijay, Ernie, and Retief) are in the top ten. Mike Weir had it made, but he couldn't handle Amen Corner today.
Fuck it. Unfortunately Belinda Stronach dropped out of the Liberal leadership race. My deep dark secret is, that I had been hoping she would win it. A big-titted blonde-bimbo who was born into money, and was a recent Conservative MP.... can you imagine a better Liberal Party Prime Minister of Canada?
Sure, the first female Prime Minister of Canada was actually a Conservative. But Kim Campbell was old, and not nearly as hot as Belinda. Plus Belinda has that undeserved sence of accomplishment, which is super-sexy - and super-common - in big-titted blonde rich-girls.
The Liberal Party needs to completely cleans itself of the "old names". Paul Martin realized that when he didn't win the minority, so he stepped aside. The Liberal Party needs a total revamp that is more in touch with "the common" man. The Liberal party now is corrupt... and the only support they have is from the far left, and corporate interests (they were half decent to big business). It's the worst combination.
The reason why Stephen Harper impresses me, is because he follows the KISS principal. Keep It Simple Stupid. I think my dad told me that everyday of my life. It still pisses me off. Stephen Harper though, gets it. Five key objectives, and probably a two year term... its not unreasonable. What keeps it totally simple, is the fact that his five objectives are things that nobody can REALLY argue against. They're all good for everybody.
There will however, be a lot of people who disagree with the way this goes down. Like the GST cut, compared to the income tax cut. I could go all haughty taughty here, and talk about tickle-down economics. But I won't.
