The mayor of Vancouver is contemplating giving out free drugs to addicts.

I've gotta say, I'm a big fan of this plan. Give the people what they want. If the people want drugs, give them drugs by the boat-load! The part that does have me concerned:

According to the Vancouver Sun, an anonymous donor has offered to contribute $500,000 to fund a harm-reduction program that would provide drugs or drug substitutes to addicts.

Who in the hell donates $500k to get addicts even higher? A person throwing that kinda cash around has got to have an agenda... and it can't be a good one. Maybe it's the largest coke dealer in Vancouver? Who knows, but it seems pretty sketchy.
