Today marks the 365th day that I've been working at this lousy job. It's not a pleasant anniversary. One year of my youth, handed over to The Man, and solidifying his grip. A small part of me feels it would be appropriate to celebrate this momentus occassion - by torching the building. Most of me however, just wants to quit and play golf all summer. Unfortunately "most of me", doesn't have to worry about paying the bills.

The University of Manitoba makes me laugh sometimes. The student union elected a convicted drug dealer as president yesterday. Now, I've got nothing against the guy - or drug dealers in general - but can't they at least find somebody with a clean rap sheet? And it's not like he was convicted a long time ago either, he was sentenced in May 2005. Barely enough time to get the stench of shower-room rape out of one's brain. But hey, I know where I'll be spending April 20th this year, back at the quad.
