Man, I got so wasted last night....
I lost the pipe again. And I have no idea where I was yesterday. It constantly amazes me that I can get so bombed out of my brain, and still somehow wake up in my appartment. When I woke up this morning, I was preparing to call in sick cause I thought it was Friday. The hardest part about being an alcoholic is the re-occuring guilt. It's time to crack a beer.
Also on the subject of my lack of self-control - I've got two kind words for the government. Thank you for the GST check, and thank you for the income tax refund. I got drunk out of my mind thanks to that money, and I'm going to go to buy a new pipe this morning, amongst other things I probably shouldn't buy. Money really IS the root of all evil.
Sometimes it worries me that I enjoy insanity so much. I've always enjoyed insane people, and sane people who do insane things. I worry because I think - subconsciously - I endevour to be one of them. It's Snowing Heavily. I like the idea of thinking insanely, because it's basically just thinking too far outside the box. You gotta be outside the box, it's time to change my socks.
Nirvana has been my favorite band for a while. My favorite song is Tourette's from In Utero, because I think it best summarizes the bands "feel" for me. That whole albums is amazing. Tourette syndrome would be an appropriate theme for Kurt Cobain's life, in a good way.
The crack dealer that lives down the street is having a good day. I guess people are afeared that this snow will have them trapped in doors for a few days. Crazy crackerjacks. This snow sucks, it's too warm right now. He's a pretty smart drug dealer. He's worked out of the same place for over 3 years. I've only seen the cops there once, and he obviously didn't do any real jail time. He's pretty discrete too, unless you live around here for a while.
There is a surprising amount of Canadian billionaires. The Edmonton Sun has an article about one of the more interesting guys.
