Headshop, Sunny d, and The mahatma

I lost my favorite pipe last night, and I'm not too pleased with myself. It's not really the pipe itself that I loved, it was a momento, though the physical make up of the pipe was of great quality.

The pipe was given to me by the girl of my dreams. It was the perfect pipe, it fit her personality perfectly. Many people who've smoked that pipe have commented on what a great pipe it is, and every time I've given her credit. Every time I smoked that pipe, it was like I was enjoying her company. I shall miss that pipe, and I hope dearly that I manage to find it soon.

I watched Ghandi again on the History Channel this morning. The most fascinating aspects of his character are his absolute resolve and sheer humility. It's a combination not often found in individuals. Humility tends to be tied to aquiesance, in his case his resolve was too great. Yet his humility is what gave him such credibility. He was a very interesting person.

The History Channel is also having a "Contraband Film Festival" next weekend. That should be fun.
