I found a very interesting article about the Zacarias Moussaoui trial. It gives a good synopsis of the death-peanalty phase of the trial. One issue at hand, is the way the FAA fucked up with it's lawyers. Another is the fact that a man has never been sentanced to death in the United States unless he "pulled the trigger" in a murder. The third matter is that Moussaoui has lied, and lied, and lied. He's proven that not one damn word he says can be trusted, which has made his own testimony - in this case, especially against himself - untrustworthy... and nobody likes to kill a man without just cause (okay, not jurors anyway).
