Bad Week

It's been a bad week at work for me this week. I'm not sure if it's just me, or if it's the job. I did have to work extremely late a couple of days, which doesn't impress me.

There was a big storm this afternoon. I was hoping that it would be bad enough for me to get the day off of work (to work on this site), but it doesn't appear that I'll be that fortunate.

I got my taxes done this week also, which is good. I don't like having shit like that hanging over my head, stressing me out. It was very easy to do with QuickTax on the web also. Basically just plugging in numbers.

The NHL has started again, as of yesterday. I enjoy hockey a lot more when I don't have to wake up at 6:30am to watch it. I'm less restless when the NHL is on TV, and I don't neccessarily feel the need to go out then. The trade deadline is coming up as well, which also makes for interesting times.

As far as politics goes, Winnipeg mayor Sam Katz is dropping his operations budget today. I'm quite interested to see if he's the real deal, or if he's just another shill. The Liberal Party has decided play the jerk card with the Conservatives. Yet they can't get rid of the stench of corruption eminating from The Party.

I do plan on working on this site a bit! It's now being mirrored at www.natedawg.org.
