Martin spun upside down

The continuing saga of Paul Martin's decline is getting very confusing. His biggest supporter in Buzz Hargrove, was caught yesterday trying to pull off the elusive triple-reverse-spin, on the unsuspecting public.
The pair was attempting to make a double-barreled effort to stop Harper and his Conservatives from achieving further gains in Quebec.

But the controversy now has Martin on the defensive, saying that he's never doubted Harper's federalist position.

When will Paul Martin figure it out? Every time he's attacked Stephen Harper during this election, it has backfired misserably. He has repeatedly ended up having to defend Stephen Harpers views after either he, or one of his advisers says/does something stupid.

The public knows Paul Martin fucked up, and he's trying to weasle his way out. People don't want to see him weasle, they want him to take full responsibility, and find solutions to the countries problems.

And speaking of weasles... Do you think Buzz likes the taste of toe-jam?

He said a Harper-led government would put in place "a framework that will make it easier for the separatists to win in Quebec -- surely that's pretty close to being a separatist."....

The CAW head also implied that Quebecers should vote for the Bloc Quebecois if it meant keeping out the Conservatives.

"I would urge them to stop Stephen Harper in any way they can," he said, adding that Canada will be a "meaner place for most Canadians" with Harper as leader.

"I can't believe it's not butter!"

What kind of friggin' paradoxical logic-jam did Buzz put the Liberal party into? I don't think the Liberal party is even trying to win this election anymore, they're just trying to sabatoge any political capital the Conservative party might drum-up in this election.

And what's with the "meaner place" comment? Is Buzz suggesting that the Liberal Party is what makes up the character of most Canadians? Would Buzz be suggesting that the government is so omni-present in our every day lives, that they make up the basis of our collective individual characters?

I'd like to think that I am who I am, regardless of who's in government. But the Liberal Party doesn't think that way. The Party comes before the individual, thats the Liberal way.
